• Private Contact Information: Email address provided during bidding (used solely for royal dethroning notifications; never made public).
• Technical & Network Data: IP address, inferred country code, browser headers, and standard access logs.
• Transaction Metadata: Razorpay and Dodo Payments identifiers, checkout session references, order IDs, and currency amounts. We never store credit/debit card numbers or banking passwords.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is utilized to:

• Display the current sovereign monarch and maintain historical Hall of Fame archives.
• Process transactions securely through our payment provider.
• Dispatch private email notifications when a challenger dethrones you.
• Prevent fraud, bot spam, and illegal content submission.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share necessary data strictly with trusted infrastructure partners:

• Razorpay & Dodo Payments: Payment gateway and Merchant of Record services for domestic (India) and international payment processing, compliance verification, and currency conversion.
• Supabase: Scalable PostgreSQL database and secure cloud storage for avatars.
• Resend: Transactional email service for dethroning notifications.

4. Data Retention Policy

Public sovereign records (name, message, reign duration, bid amount) are permanently archived in the Hall of Fame as public chronicles of the application. Private emails are retained for as long as needed to service notifications and comply with tax and audit obligations.

5. DPDP Act 2023 & DPDP Rules 2025 Compliance

In compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 and the notified DPDP Rules 2025, we act as a Data Fiduciary regarding the personal data you provide. Processing is strictly limited to specified lawful purposes: transaction fulfillment, royal coronation, security monitoring, and dethroning alerts.

Your Rights: You hold statutory rights to obtain confirmation and access of processed data, seek correction of inaccurate data, withdraw notification consent, and request complete erasure of private contact information. You also retain the right to readily accessible grievance redressal.
